General terms and conditions of interpretation
- basic rate is the rate negotiated with a client
- day rate is the basic rate plus all extra charges
- hour rate is negotiable and applies to each started hour

Terms and conditions
- interpreter and a client conclude a contract
- client is not authorized to require interpretation activities other than contracted
- working day lasts for 8 hours comprising breaks; the basic rate shall be increased by at
least 15% with each extra hour
- period of the half of the day, i.e. 4 hours, is negotiable; the rate then is at 60% of the
day rate; any period of more than 4 hours is considered as the whole day
- interpreter is authorized to invoice time spent on the way out of office
- interpreter is authorized to invoice transport, board, and accommodation costs
Basic rate increase
- harmful environment – increase of at least 30%
- Saturdays – increase of 50%; Sundays and bank holidays – increase of 100%
